An Art & Crafts Sussex style low open armchair, in the manner of William Morris / Maddox Brown, stained beech with a woven rush seat and lattice back, 47 x 85 x 40cm.
The rush is broken across the centre of the seat. The chair feels structurally sound when sat in, and there are no obvious structural issues or breaks. There is some side to side wobble that may indicate slightly different leg lengths, but it's hard to be sure with our uneven floors. The finish has wear commensurate with age and use, some small dents.
